Settings

• End date — the target date. Stored as ISO 8601 (YYYY-MM-DD).
• End time — the target time (24h format).
• Time zone — the time zone the end date is interpreted in. Defaults to your store’s time zone.
• Heading + Subheading.
• Show days / hours / minutes / seconds — 4 checkboxes.
• Label visibility — show the words “days / hours / minutes / seconds” under the numbers.
• End behavior — Hide section / Show message / Redirect to URL when the countdown reaches zero.
• End message + End button (when behavior = Show message).

How it works

The countdown runs entirely client-side from the visitor’s local time, calibrated to the end date in the store time zone. No script reload needed when the page is open.

Tips

• For flash sales, place this section above the fold or right after the hero.
• Pair with the Text marquee section above for maximum drama.
• Remember to remove or hide the section after the campaign ends.
